FDI Congress Poster Competition Winners Announced
At the ADA FDI 2019 World Dental Congress, held in San Francisco on 4–8 September 2019, Dr. Türker Yücesoy of the Bezmialem Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, won first prize in the Oral Surgery and Pathology category — among the scientific presentations evaluated by the scientific committee across four categories — with his study “The Efficiency of Ozone-Therapy & Low-Level-Laser-Therapy in Rat Facial Nerve Injury”.
His certificate was presented by Dr. Roger Macias, Chair of the ADA Scientific Committee, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hande Şar Sancaklı, Chair of the FDI Scientific Committee Jury.
In the other categories, first prizes went to studies from the USA in Digital Dentistry, Russia in Periodontology and Germany in Restorative Dentistry.
